I've finally released SiS 671 linux 3d driver beta version today. I can't believe that I spent only 4 months to get it done all by my self!! I hope that RCT won't report too much bugs to me...
Thank helps from Dennis and windows driver RD team.

Congratulations! Keep up the good works! Also, please take care of yourself. :)
any news on that driver? could not find any newer version, and on the SiS website they did not even manage to get the 2D drivers (which DO exist according to rumors) into the download section... Would be great news if we finally could have full Linux support on several cool subnotebooks which have that chip onboard...
Hi, thanks for 2d driver, it works OK. I don't understand, you talk about "Release SIS671 Linux 3D Driver", but i can't find it. Did you released it to SIS or to us (linux users)? thanks for your time!

Any news about this driver ? Is there any revision control system about it?
Thank you !
Please read my new post of my blog. The latest driver does not put on the website of SiS.
First: The driver works great with Ubuntu 7.10. Thank you for that.
Question: is there a 64-bit version of the driver available, as I want to run Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 / 64-bit.
Thanks.
Our 2d driver doesn't work on ubuntu 8.04 now. But I think it is coming soon.
But my 3d driver doesn't support for 64bits os now.
